Kosta
Boda since 1742. Artistically conceived, colourful glass
with a design idiom all of its own has made Kosta Boda one of the
world's leading glass brands. New collections and pieces are introduced
each year, along with newcomers to series that have already won
popular acclaim. New collections and exhibitions by individual artists
are constantly on show in galleries, museums, shops and showrooms
both in Sweden and abroad.
Art
Glass from Kosta Boda are limited editions, specially signed
pieces that are often much sought after. Kosta Boda art glass is
divided into two categories: unique pieces and limited edition.
Limited editions are manufactured in runs of 25 to 1000 pieces.
All art glass is marked with the product number, the name of the
designer and the size of the edition, so that the purchaser will
know exactly how many pieces there are in that particular series.
Editions compromising less than 60 pieces are individually numbered,
e.g. "25/60".
